Vaginosis: Bacterial vaginosis/vaginitis is usually caused by a change in the ph of the vagina. This leads to an overgrowth of bacteria that then causes discharge smell and discomfort. It is not considered a sexually transmitted disease

No: Bacterial vaginosis is not sexually transmitted. It it usually caused by a change in the vaginal environment (pH, normal vaginal bacteria, chemicals in the vagina, etc)
