Its been 9 days since my upper teeth pulled. what should my gums look like? when can i stop worrying about dry socket?does it heal inside it first?

Dry socket: If you were to get dry socket this happens within the first 3 days after extraction at 9 days post extraction its not an issue to worry about. Dry socket is also more common for lower wisdom teeth then other teeth

Depends: It depends on the extent of the surgery for example whether bone had to be removed or if was a simple extraction. Dry socket usually occurs around day 3 after surgery. After that the clot is usually formed and solid so that it is not a problem anymore. Healing occurs quicker in the soft tissue and the bone and socket heal more slowly.
