A member asked:

Been ttc for 6 months, get chronic uti's, doctors says everything else is fine, can this affect me getting pregnant? how do i treat it with vitamins?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Chronic UTIs do not cause problems getting pregnant. They can, however cause problems in pregnancy, so you need to have it evaluated and treated. Vitamins won't help, but you should be on a women's vitamin (has Folic acid) before conception to reduce the risk of birth defects.
