Period discomfort started in 2008. in 2012, tummy became bigger & fibroid of 2cm noticed. now it's 2.5cm. trying to conceive. could this be a problem?

No: Unless the fibroid is sub mucosal it is unlikely it would affect your pregnancy. Even it was, it wouldn't affect your ability to get pregnant.
