A member asked:

If i receive oral sex, and have sex with a condom, should i still worry about catching hiv, herpes or any std's if used properly?

Not perfect: Condoms offer good protection against STD's but they are not perfect, as they can tear or fall off. The risk of acquiring an STD from oral sex depends in part on the gender of your partner. The best protection against STD's is knowledge of your partner's status. Unfortunately, the information may not be accurate. In short, there is no risk free sex.

Asked and Answered: The condom would protect you from an common STDs. Receptive oral sex is also a very low risk activity for STDs in general.
