Sweet sensativity : The sugar changes the flow of fluids in and out of the tubules in the root of the tooth. Like the grain in a piece of wood, the tubules can move fluids and the cells that live within the tubules respond by sensing the change and transmitting pain sensation

I had two fillings done 6 days ago. The night of had some aching on teeth had been worked on but the next two days were fine. Since Tuesday though it's really sensitive after cold or sweet things and achy pain lasts few mins to few hours. Normal?
