Referred pain?: Whatever is causing your throat pain (postnasal drip, acid reflux, viral infection, allergies, etc.) may also create ear pain since the sanenerves innervate both areas and inflammation in the throat may be referred to the ears. Don't know what is happening in your case, but seeing your PCP would not be a bad idea.
