Peritonsillar absces: There shouldn' t be a problem if you are on antibiotics. Wearing a mask when you breast feed is also helpful

Protected: Breast feeding your baby is one of the best things you can do to help protect him from infection. Combined with the fact that you are on antibiotics, the risk if transmission is relatively low. Avoid kisses on the face and hands while you are recovering, and take him for evaluation if he shows signs of infection (fever, fussiness, poor nursing, etc )
