Can too much computer work cause a detached retina?

No: Detached retinas occur from intrinsic abnormalities of the retina or external trauma. Computer work is drying and tiring but will not cause detachment of the retina.

Not likely: Computer use may cause eye strain, but it should not lead to retinal detachment.
