Computer screen light is not known to cause eye damage or cancer. The main effect is that the blue wavelengths may interfere with sleep. Use your computer's night shift option if you must use it in the 3-4 hours before bedtime. Otherwise no health worries.

It's not likely that blue light can worsen lattice or cause uveal melanoma; UV light may be a different story. Blue light is not likely a large issue in macular degeneration, but there may be some mild associations. In any event, sitting in front of a computer screen is not likely to cause significant damage
