Infection: Probably from an infected tooth (abscess) or infected gums (gum disease) or combined tooth/gum infection. It has to be physically treated. Antibiotics may limit spread, but source of infection has to be removed. Please call your Dentist before your chronic annoying problems becomes an acute debilitating problem. Call now.

See your dentist: Some conditions like lumps and jaw pain may require further assessment and your dentist may schedule a follow-up appointment or refer you to a specialist to determine a diagnosis. See your dentist for evaluation.

Gingival Lump: Could be something as simple as trapped food, could be an infection. Needs to be physically evaluated. Please see a local dentist.

Tender lump: All of your symptoms together suggest an infection or access. See a dentist for an examination, diagnosis and treatment before it gets worse ( if it's an infection, it will get worse if not treated).
