A member asked:

I've have bursitis in my left shoulder for about three weeks now, i feel better now, is weight training going to make it worse? or am i safe to lift?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See details: If the pain is completely resolved, start lifting again. Start with lower weights than usual and slowly increase. If the pain returns, stop lifting and have the bursitis treated. A local cortisone injection will usually resolve the issue.
