Bon Appetit : Introduce new foods 1 at a time, starting with iron-fortified cereal; Introduce fruits & veggies after your baby eats cereal well. Offer 1-2 tablespoons of solid food 2-3 times per day; Avoid feeding to much if baby shows signs of being full (pulling away or leaning back). Avoid peanuts, tree nuts, fish & shellfish. Avoid honey until after 1 year of age.

Let the fun begin!: In addition to breast feeding or formula your baby should be old enough to slowly start solid foods. You can try pureed fruits (banana, pears, apples, etc) vegetables (avocado, carrots, squash, and sweet potato), Pureed meat (chicken, pork, beef), Pureed tofu, Pureed legumes and Iron-fortified cereal. Just start slow - one NEW food every few days so that if there is a problem you know the cause
