5ml of suspension: Tylenol (generic: acetaminophen) packaging provides a safe place to start: 2-3 year olds can take 5ml (160mg) every 4 hours for pain or fever. Be sure that you are not using the concentrated infant drops which could lead to an overdose. Proper hydration can also help with fever but you can also try Ibuprofen or contact your doctor for more accurate dosing. Never use Aspirin to treat a child.
