Buprenex (buprenorphine): It is Buprenorphine used in high doses >2mgm to control moderate acute pain in non opoid totrant patient in lower deses. It is also used in high doses sublingually for detoxification and long term replacement therapy in opoid dependance patients.It is marketed under name of soboxone or subutex, and the drug is now used for that purpose in us.Long term replacement or detox therapy in opoid dependant.

That is not correct. Buprenex is an injectable form of buprenorphine and it is only available in 0.3 mg vials. It is not high dose buprenorphine.
