It often does: Sinusitis often gets better on its own within a week or so. Treating sinusitis with antibiotics should be considered if symptoms (persistent cough, nasal congestion/drainage, sinus pressure or headache) last longer than 10 days, or if these symptoms are present with 3 days of moderate to high fever & not improving.
