A member asked:

Whats the best treatment for sinusitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

For documented sinusitis caused by an infection a course of an appropriate antibiotic for 7-10 days is usually effective. Occasionally up to 3 weeks of treatment is needed. It's also important to keep sinus draining by steam inhalations and/or nasal decongestants if necessary.
