Psychotherapy: I really urge that you find a good psychotherapist (CBT) to nip in the bud this blossoming. You can learn how to avoid, reduce and manage anxiety. After what you went through, it is not surprising that you may be feeling a bit of "PTSD" - aftereffects of a trauma. Hopefully, not full blown, but possibly able to expand and become more entrenched. Confront it early, it'll be easier! Best wishes.
