Hurts like heck!: No joke. A pathological fracture is a very serious, hard to treat situation that often leads to immobility or death. It often needs surgery and radiotherapy for management. That's why it's vital to prevent fractures and deal with bone metastases before the bone breaks. Bisphosphonates (bone meds), radiation, and even preventative surgery can be considered depending on the situation.
