Pain, risk of fract.: Cancer which has spread to the bones can cause pain, and lead to fracture of the bone. Depending on the type of cancer and many other factors, it may be treated with hormonal therapy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or injection of a radioactive element to radiate the tumor from the inside (example:radium 232).
