Depends on What CA: All cancers in the bones can break bones. Patients with cancer in the bones should be on bone strengthening medicine, and should consider radiation to any bones that are painful. Cancer spread to the bones is not as bad in terms of survival as cancer spread to other areas, though. Overall survival chance depends on the diagnosis.
