What are the issues involving an elevated chromagranin a test?

Not specific: Hi. Chromogranin A (CgA) is a good test and I use it a lot, but you have to understand its limitations. CgA is sensitive but not specific. Its elevation is seen with many neuroendocrine tumors/conditions, but it tells you no more than that. Good luck!
