Taking the red eye : An overnight flight can be tough since all that interference can disrupt the sleep cycle. I recommend a window seat with a good pillow, eye shield and foam ear plugs. With darkness, reduced noise and a somewhat more comfortable position you can maybe get a few hours of sleep that will mean u feel better when you arrive. Safe travels!

Sleep: Bringing your own pillow may be most helpful, especially if you have a window seat. Benadryl may help you sleep, although you should make sure that it won't interfere with your medical problems or medications. Also, some people are very sensitive to Benadryl, and it can make them feel very drowsy the next day.
