See your doctor: TMJ dysfunction can affect the ears, but beside checking with your dentist and eventually getting a night guard, you should see a physician (ENT) to rule out any other infection or condition in your ear or in the area that could cause the earaches you are describing but not necessarily related to your TMJ syndrome.

TMJ-TMD: TMJ disorder is the second most frequent cause of orofacial pain after dental pain. The common symptom are: headache, jaw pain, neck pain, eye pain, earache. Proper diagnosis is the key for the successful treatment. This disorder will not resolve on its own with home care. Rec.: orofacial pain specialist for evaluation and treatment.
