What to do if i have slight pain in my left lower abdomen, its only when i press on it or strain it. is that appendicitis?

Wrong side : Though the appendix can rarely be on the left this is not likely. The only thing over there with constant position is the left colon. There are many reasons it can hurt, most of which are not terribly serious but you need to know. Have your doctor order an abdominal ct scan, a colonoscopy or both.
