Have you ever done rolfing for lower back pain?

Yes: I have actually had more than one rolfing session but not for back pain. Rolfing is technique invented by dr. Ida rolf back in the 70s. The techinical term for her method is structural integration. The theory is that we all develop various postural "faults" that then put uneven pressure on our joints, spine, muscles etc. Rolfing tries to reestablish balance. It can be very painful.

Yes: It has. Practicians receive training. Some are trained in other disciplines like physical therapy, massage, and other health care fields. Like most treatments, it may help some forms of pain, but not others.

No solid evidence: Rolfing is a therapy system created by the rolf institute of structural integration (also referred to as "risi" and is a system whereby the alleged manipulation of the fasciae by specific methods is believed to yield therapeutic benefit. Rolfing lacks a solid scientific evidence base.
