A member asked:

What to do if i have been on a combination of morphin er and roxicodone (oxycodone) for over 6 years but i am?

Combo narcs: The question is why were you prescribed these drugs in the first place? For the most part, narcotics should be preserved for acute pain (a broken bone, burns, surgery etc). Its generally a bad idea for chronic pain. I would suggest you try to get weaned off these drugs (not easy). There are better long term substitutes. See a pain/addiction specialist.
