My take is ...: Recurrent long use of antibiotics is not advised if it can be avoided because of their potential side effects and possible induction of resistant bugs. So, seek pro-evaluation for verifying possible underlying causes for UTI so to design regimen and counsel you for future - hopefully no or less need for antibiotics.
