Combination product: It is highly effective if taken daily as indicated without missing doses. Must use backup birth control for the first two weeks after beginning this product. Note the contraindications (package insert) and report any side effects to you physician.

Effective: Sprintec is a very effective form of oral contraception when used correctly, which is taking one pill at the same time each day. With perfect use Sprintec and other oral contraceptives are 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. Sprintec is a higher estrogen oral contraceptive pill because it contains 35mcg of ethinyl estradiol.
