Hemorrhoids: Piles are not a common symptom of bowel perforation. They would often be separate issues. Do you have a bowel perforation?

No: prolapsing hemorrhoids or an associated hernia occurs with obstruction of bowel and increased intra abdominal pressure. Perforated bowel leads at best to a pericolonic abscess and at worst- peritonitis with severe abdominal pain and fever.

Not really related.: Hi Mike. A bowel perforation is a life threatening emergency requiring immediate surgery! Individuals will experience severe abdominal pain and will rapidly deteriorate unless intervention takes place. While a perforation can result in abdominal distention and hence some incidental increase in the protrusion of piles (hemorrhoids), these diseases are radically different and essentially unrelated.
