How is she acting?: She may have fever. You can check her temperature & treat a fever with Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen (based on age/weight recommendations). Fever can be a sign of illness, but it's more important to focus on how she appears. As long as she's not having trouble breathing or lethargic, & she's drinking and urinating well it's likely nothing serious. If she has worsening symptoms, call her doctor.

Use thermometer: Core temperature, taken in the mouth or rectum is an accurate way to determine presence of fever. Superficial head and abdomen temperature may respond to environmental factors such as climate or clothes and a persons' hands are very inaccurate in judging the real temperature.
