Is brintellix too new yet to trust? i hate to try something if it's only approved less than 1 year. is it safe to take? would you prescribe? ses?

Play it safe: Your concerns seem reasonable to me. I hope you also hold a conservative stance w/ respect to more established drugs. Have you explored psychotherapy? It has no side effects or potential for long-term surprises. Use your discernment to interview and select a good psychotherapist with whom you can develop trust and work on learning moos mgmt skills. A time w/ meds might help, but maybe not needed.
