Tendon: likely patella tendonitis- could be partial tear- you need exam and X-rays from an Orthopedic doc and they can tell you for sure- high risk for rupture at your age

Patella tendonitis: mist common reason.. Ice after playing. Stretch quads before and after. When bad take day off. NSAIDs. Try a chopat knee brace. May need 2-3 weeks off sometimes. PRP INJECTIONS can help. Don't inject steroids can cause rupture.
