Hypoglycemia: Low blood sugars are not caused by diabetes but may be related to the medications used to treat diabetes. 58 is a low blood sugar but if you feel fine it is nothing to worry about. If you have symptoms or other medical problems follow up with your doctor. In the meanwhile keep sugar packets or the equivalent with you to immediately relieve symptoms in a pinch.

Blood Sugar: You do not have diabetes. Diabetes means HIGH blood sugar. You have normal to low blood sugar.

Low blood sugar: Low blood sugar is not an indication for diabetes. Many other conditions can cause low blood sugar. Several labs need to be done to determine the reason your blood sugar goes low. Other historical information is helpful. When is it low? Same time every day? A few times a week randomly. These can help determine what is causing the problem.
