I'm on diamox (acetazolamide) 250mg tid, for chiari malformation. i'm wondering if dandelion root tea will effect my medication?

Chiari malformation: Yes. Dandelion root is a diuretic and so is Diamox (acetazolamide) (actazolamide). Also, dandelion root may slow the breakdown of Diamox (acetazolamide) and lead to undesirable side-effects. Discuss the dandelion root with your neurosurgeon/neurologist.
