A member asked:

If i blow green secretions from my nose does that mean i have a sinus infection even if i have no other symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Inflammation of any sort in the nose or nasopharynx can result in discharges. Sinusitis is accompanied by congestion, nasality of speech, facial pain and swelling, headache, tenderness over the sinuses, occasionally fever or dental pain and other minor symptoms. That is not to say that green secretions may not be from the sinuses.
