I have diagnosed hereditary pancreatitis. why does my amalayse and lipase rarely elevate when i am having an episode? it hurts so bad .

HP: Hereditary pancreatitis (HP) can progress to chronic pancreatitis. I would need to know more about your tests and results to know for sure but in general when the enzymes don't elevate that is what it indicates, is this general progression.
