YES: I would Check with your doc. Certainly you should ALWAYS be able to bear weight on your foot and ankle. Even with an ankle sprain you can bear weight, albeit uncomfortably. It is possible you have anything from a tendonitis, Stress fracture, plantar fasciitis or inflammation of the joint. Cant tell without more information

Sounds like sprain: By your description, you "rolled" your ankle, either inward or out, depending on side with pain. Should put cool compresses on it to minimize swelling, and consider ACE wrap (not too tight) overnight. If still painful in am, may benefit from Urgent Care or seeing your Dr. They can evaluate it and help provide supportive and treatment guidance.
