Sensory Nerve Damage: The condition that you are describing relates to some type of sensory nerve damage. Do you have history of Diabetes or high blood sugar? I would recommend getting a nerve study (EMG) to possibly rule out such problem. There are medications that can help with this such as Lyrica (pregabalin) and Cymbalta.
