Urgent care needed: Your symptoms could be serious. Sharp chest pain likely indicates an irritation of the inside of your chest/surface of the lung. While there are some benign causes, the shortness of breath associated with it means you need a chest x-ray at at minimum, TODAY. Best advise would be to call your local doctor if you have one, and head to the ER.
