A member asked:

I just come out of hospital after a severe case of seratonin syndrome, are there any long lasting effects and when will i start feeling myself again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Self limited event: Most of the danger in seratonin syndrome is during the event and the uncertainty leading up to the suspected diagnosis. Once your neurotransmitters reset and return to normal levels the acute period has passed. I guess returning to normal depends on what you are still feeling and what happened during your stay in the hospital and only you and your doctorknowthat
