You should be checked for vitamin B12 and folate (folic acid) deficiency. If the low counts are progressing, then discuss with your transplant physician a bone marrow with cytogenetics to rule out MDS, although MDS usually occurs at a longer interval after SCT.

Yet a low blood count requires a check on the Bone marrow to determine the productive capacity of bone marrow. Cytogenetic study of bone marrow can help to exclude MDS type of concerns.
