RA: Elevated rheumatoid factor and synovitis are consistent with rheumatoid arthritis, but in and of themselves not diagnostic. Speak with your doctor about what these findings mean in the context of your complete clinical picture.

Probably: The presence of a positive blood test for rheumatoid factor and also radiologic evidence for synovitis would make the diagnosis highly likely. A rheumatologist could sit down with you and potentially confirm the diagnosis. Thank you for the question.
