Two options: Either you have some fetal-hemoglobin, which is uncommon in adults except in some infection conditions; or you have never had CytoMegaloVirus (CMV), which behavies like a 'cold' in adults, but can be life-threatening in infants, so 'CMV (-)' blood is sought for infant use.
