UTI: I'm not familiar with the name of the antibiotic you mention, though it sounds like Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) (trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole). This is generally fine to treat UTI. If you don't improve, however, this might suggest resistance to this antibiotic. Please discuss with your provider.
