Cut In Half: The tablets are scored and can be cut in half. If they are still too big, they can be crushed and mixed in a small amount of applesauce and taken. Follow with plenty of water.

Yes: Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (bactrim/septra/other) comes in a variety of liquid preparations. For double strength this may be a large volume, but check with your pharmacist to see what is available, although they may want another prescription from your doctor.
