I have a uti. i was prescribed bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim). since i am supposed to take it twice a day and it is so late now, can i still start or should i wait until to?

Take the antibiotic: The longer you wait, the longer the discomfort (pain on urination stops within a day of starting the right antibiotic ) and the higher the risk of complications such as a kidney infection, abscess, or blood infection.
