Depends: The long term effects of having cancer as a baby are dependent upon what type of treatment was rendered. Surgery- on what organs, if any. Radiation- on what organs. Chemotherapy- what drugs and how long. Each modality of treatment carries with it its own unique set of both short and long term side effects and risks.
