Bruising or bleeding: Hallmarks of platelet disorders are easy bruising or prolonged bleeding after small cuts. Symptoms are often exaggerated after taking Aspirin. Some high platelet counts can also be indirectly related to causes of excessive clotting or excessive bleeding
