Hello. You do not necessarily have to take testosterone to undergo FTM butt/upper width surgery. However, transgender men who choose to combine the two are more satisfied because it gives them a more masculine appearance more quickly. Consult your plastic surgeon for advice about testosterone and to see if you can combine it with surgery.
